There are a wide number of problems that can occur when you consider how many different fixtures are connected to your drain system. There are all kinds of items that can lead to drain blockages. For example, sink blockages may be a result of food scraps, toilet blockages can be caused by wet wipes and hair clogs can occur in showers. There are a number of signs that a blockage has happened in your home.
With time, the interior of your drain pipes can get blocked with hair, grime, soap or other debris. This will make water flow very slowly and can eventually lead to a complete blockage.
If your toilet won’t flush, it may have gotten filled with toilet paper, wet wipes or other household items. This may eventually turn into a plumbing emergency.
If you notice gurgling or bubbling sounds, you probably have air trapped in your drains as a result of debris build-up. Broken sewer pipes may also create this noise.
