Electric eel – The process of using electric eel to remove stubborn blockages in your drains involve feeding a metal cable into the storm water line or sewer. The cable then rotates to remove wastes, hair, detergents, grease and roots.
High-pressure water jet cleaner – When electric eel is not enough to eliminate the problem, we then use our high-pressure water jet blaster to remove debris, roots, grease, sludge and build up along drain pipe walls.
CCTV camera – High-resolution drain camera is used to locate the source of a blockage. While electric eel and high-pressure water jet are methods that can clear pipes, they both don’t guarantee removal of the root growth permanently. Pipe breakages may allow further root growth. They will only be detected using a CCTV drain camera. Using the camera will give an idea to both the plumbers and the client what further steps to take. It determines whether excavation or sewer maintenance is necessary.
Pipe locator – Pipe locator will be used should excavation is required. With the help of CCTV camera, pipe locator will identify the point of blockage and offer alternatives to solve the issue.
Tree root chemical treatment. If we found out that roots in your pipes are the primary cause of blocked drain, chemical treatment may be effective in killing off root structure to prevent it from growing again once the pipes have been cleared of initial root build-up.
Pumps – Your basement, stormwater or sewer pits may have faulty pumps, which we can service, maintain and replace.
